We offer integrated non-traditional physical and occupational therapy that incorporates structural balancing and functional enhancement. East Meets West Therapeutics (EMWT) practitioners use thorough physical and functional assessment of the body to determine the structural and functional contributing factors to the problem. Applying manual therapy, including but not limited to myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, zero balancing, muscle energy techniques, joint mobilization, the practitioner helps the patient achieve optimal physical alignment to ensure optimal functioning of the joints and the body as a whole, and thus decrease further inflammation and pain that often follows from joint malalignment and faulty biomechanics. 

The optimal alignment is then maintained through exercises that preserve the new level of flexibility and correct the underlying muscle imbalance.

We also offer Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in treating imbalances in the body system that result in dysfunctions, diseases and pain. Dry needling offered by our physical therapist helps in relieving stubborn muscle spasms and tightness in conjunction with myofascial release.
